ABOUT THE COACH
Hey guys! It’s Leigh here. I currently live in Greenville, North Carolina, but am originally from Chestertown; a small town located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social and Behavioral Influences on Health from Gettysburg College and received a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. I am a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, trained at Duke Integrative Medicine.
I started my health coaching practice in 2019 because I wanted to help people find the root cause of their health issues and create sustainable ways to improve their quality of life. While that passion still fuels my desire to help others, over the years, I noticed one area that people seemed to keep getting stuck on, stress.
While not all stress is bad, some level of stress is good, actually, if you don't have practical strategies to recover from stress, it begins to take a toll on your health.
That's where my work as a health coach comes in. I help individuals leverage holistic lifestyle practices to manage stress and feel more energized. We focus on all the things you can control: moving your body, checking in with your mindset, maintaining proper nutritional balance, optimizing sleep quality and everything in between.
Life doesn't have to feel like you're in a race on a hamster wheel. I've been there, and I can tell you, it isn't fun.
So here's to working together to create lifestyle practices that allow you to live a healthy, vibrant, balanced, life.
