ABOUT THE COACH
Hey guys! It’s Leigh here. I currently live in Greenville, North Carolina, but am originally from Chestertown; a small town located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social and Behavioral Influences on Health from Gettysburg College and received a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. I am a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, trained at Duke Integrative Medicine.
I started my health coaching practice in 2019 because I wanted to help people find the root cause of why changes they have tried making for their health haven't been sustainable. Over the years, I have honed in on mainly working with women to help them heal from the effects chronic stress has on the body.
As a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, and through my own personal journey dealing with symptoms of chronic stress, it has become my mission to support others in prioritizing their health in their own life. I believe it is important to get out of “comparisonville” and have someone to remind us that we are all capable and worthy of living a life full of energy, confidence and happiness, with our health in mind.
Let’s work together to fight back against the societal norm of chronic stress and surviving versus thriving mode. Let's start making the intentional choice of choosing yourself, and your health, first.
